BRob
Had a dreaded DNP-coaches decision last night.
Mo Williams started and Kemba is back. Got a bad feeling about his future with Hornets.
The good news is that I think he has played well enough to prove he can be a solid backup PG in the league.

I think he went 0-10 in the previous game this week, so that could have had something to do with it. I think you are right that he has proven to be a soild player in the league.

Brian might not have played, but he had a front row seat to witness this:

Sounds more like he was simply given the night off. Not a big deal. He's under contract for 2.8 mil next season. Mo will be a free agent.

I want to see him and all UD players do great after leaving UD. I know that everyone has off nights. But really, 0 for 10, and with new kids coming out of school every year. That is really a tenuous position. I hope his contract for next year is strong and guaranteed.

He had a horrible line, but I think the team scored all of something like 70 points, so he had plenty of comoany. He has had some terrible games and some incredibly efficient games. I am a little surprised by his inconsistentency but he is a legit pro. Our only one.

umm - CJ was 0 for 3 from the floor and 2 for 2 from the line last night for the Bucks. Must be getting close to the end of his 10 days.....

Mo Williams was acquired when Kemba Walker was hurt to add depth at the PG spot. Since he was acquired by the Hornets, he has played very well and took the starting spot from Roberts. Now that Kemba Walker is back healthy, Roberts is essential the 3rd point guard.
Mo Williams is not under contract for next year, so who knows what the backup PG spot for Charlotte will look like next year.
Though obviously Robert's would like to get playing time, the beauty of NBA contracts (from a player's perspective) is that all the money in his contract is guaranteed. He will make $2,732,000 this year and $2,854,940 next year, even if the Hornet's waive him.
