Depends where you are going to be. This is 1 of the 2 American Sports Network games that are carried by various local affiliates. Not everyone has one. For example, in NE Ohio TW/Spectrum does not have a station. It is available via stream fro free.

On DirecTV looks like the only option is Comcast Chicago.

The Dayton area has 45.2 (I believe) carrying the game.

I don't have cable, but somehow this is the only game all year that I can get over-the-air. It's on channel 28.3 (in Columbus) through my $7 antenna. Makes complete sense.

darn, I can't believe CE80 make the above comment before I did! If Kyle's got the ball in his hands you ALWAYS have time to go get a sandwich!
somebody should mention that to Bucky so he could yell sandwich on the radio broadcast so we would know if we had time! That would be neat!

Try the Beach Club, but you might have problems seeing the big screen.

Captain Kurt's often has a contingent of UD fans for games down there. with the game being on ASN, who knows how readily available it is at different spots.
Its been a while, but Captain Kurts is right by the (larger) bridge, in the same shopping area that houses the Crescent market off of Midnight Pass.
sorry, I now see you asked about friday, which will be available anywhere, I assume Kurt's still has a solid contingent of UD fans, Siesta Key is Centerville south this time of year, but doesn't hurt to hop in for lunch, grab some chowder and ask the bar keep about it.

Game
Called Beach Club. No dice. I think asn is hooked up with Comcast. Saw the Fordham game at Hooters. Tried Geckos, Harry's and Hooters. Will try Captain Curts next. In a mobile home park that has crappy cable. I may need a little more cow bell.

Comcast in North/Central NJ channel 21 TCN "claims" that the game will be televised. The oddball Comcast stations (like this) are not reliable. It is equally possible that they will show a Shirley Temple movie or a soccer game from Costa Rica rather than St.J/UD . I don't understand it but that is their history.......

Looks
Like Larry and Bucky from here in FL. I see the link on the ASN web page. Do you have to be a subscriber to Comcast? We have TWC or whatever it's called in Dayton.
Friday vs. URI for sure. They will be crazed, locked, and loaded for us. Hoping for matching their physical presence and Archie's brand of mental toughness.

I assume you know that if you have a computer, you can watch a stream on line.

I'm not trying to be a smartass by asking this either. I simply don't understand how anyone who is able to post on this forum is unable to access a free internet stream of this game.

C, I understand what you are saying, however some older devices do not support certain plug-ins which some streams require. It can be a royal (Rollo) pain.

Examples please? I'm really trying to understand why some individuals are unable to watch free streams. It just doesn't add up to me. I mean I still use Windows 7. Are people still using Vista and XP computers because that is just asking to get hacked.

Figured it out. So happy that I wanted to go out to the lighted courts, take next, then take someone one on one, cross over dribble and smack board. On to Rhody

So, anybody that watched the game on ASN, during pre game Mark Adams brought in a woman and a little girl. I just saw that from the stands but no idea why.
Anybody tell me who they were and why they were brought in their pre game introduction?

I was at the game but recorded it on ASN. There was no pre-game as the previous game ran long (Akron hit a buzzer-beater). When they joined the game the score was already 5-3.

That was his wife and daughter and they spent most of that intro talking about how he lives in the area and grew up and followed UD basketball.

I had a lot more trouble with the stream last night than I did with the previous ASN game. Glad to be done with hooking up the laptop to the big screen for the season.
