Saw the thread title and though, "What?", then realized what day it is before I even opened the thread. Good one!

Come on, LongTime, do you think they'd really want UD's leftovers?

This would be another case of the school losing BG saying, " We are so sad to lose Brian. He is a great person and has a nice personality. We now can get a better coach."

Apparently, I used up all my thank you's by thanking anyone and everyone after UD beat Syracuse. ( Chris R? My 'thank you' tab does not work)
I am like a little boy, still off on Christmas surprises, or as some might prefer- an April Fool (or just plain fool?); I posted this because I cannot come down from UD/AM 'Elite Eight'.

I bit on it for a few seconds
This was the perfect April Fooler because it actually is so believable. Gets BG to a basketball-only school. Back to his familiar recruiting area. And into a basketball conference that has no dominating teams at this time.
Also would mean Marquette finally came to their senses about who they can attract for a coach.
Good one Forego!

I would NOT recommend that you post the same joke on the Georgia Tech Message Board (StingTalk).

Tech fans would be most upset when they found out it wasn't true. All I could think about it is, will GT try to pullout of our game with them this year.

Does anyone remember when the DDN reported that Brian Gregory was taking the Marquette job because he wasn't wearing a UD shirt at the Final Four?

I really think it would be a better hire than who they got.
