What a total scumbag. The coach realized he was getting bad press (hence the "you handled this poorly". . . for ME) and it was going to hurt his recruiting so he pulled strings to make the problem go away.

I say good for the kid. He hit the coach where it hurt, the court of public opinion.

Agreed. If I were a recruit, UMKC would be dropped off my list immediately.
