UD Flyer Attendance Moves to 19th in Country!
The first sold-out season in school history moved the Dayton Flyers men’s basketball team into the top 20 in the nation in average attendance.
Dayton ranked 19th in Division I, averaging 13,407 fans in 17 home games. It’s the highest the program has ranked since the 2004-05 season when it was 18th (12,570). Prior to that, it had not ranked in the top 20 since the 1977-78 season when it was 17th (11,500).

Dayton is Number One in Ohio for Attendance!
Dayton had the best attendance in Ohio and ranked one spot ahead of Ohio State (13,276). It’s the first time Dayton averaged more fans than Ohio State since the 2016-17 season when Dayton was 22nd (13,018) and Ohio State was 24th (12,324).

I'd say after investing $75M in renovating UD Arena that's our home for the rest of my lifetime ... makes you wonder how well we could fill a bigger building like Creighton (18,320), https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/CHI_Health_Center_Omaha.
Official capacity from multiple sources is 13,409, while yesterday's press cites sellouts at 13,407. I wonder how they account for variable seating like Flight Deck Loge, new concourse premium seats, terrace suites, and luxury suites. When those are maxed out, surely we add a few hundred at least.

Same thought I've had for the last couple years. Ever since they started reducing the arena 'seats' and placing the suite and loge seating in. Now with those 4 corner suites and concourse "premo" seating in and adding in additional disability areas (and taking some seats away) I'm not sure what all the effect is on a PLUS - MINUS basis for 'TOTAL SEATS'.
