Gotta give it to the kid from Kentucky! Played absolutely wonderfully! How many shots did he miss, one?

Mr. Perfect
Vee was 9 for 9 from the field and 2 for 2 at the foul line. Is Don May's consecutive made shots record in jeopardy?

I voted for Oliver...he got it started with 3 big 3's...nothing more important (for him especially) than a great start.

Voted for Vee, not only because of his line, but also when his baskets occurred. Nearly all of them were timely. He has a knack for getting a quick bucket after a make by the other team.
I also found it interesting that whenever we really really need a bucket in a half court set, we go to Pierre on the block. He got two buckets early in the second half that sort of stopped the bleeding. He of course hit the game winner at Duquesne, as well as the game tying bucket vs Joes at home. When we have to have a bucket, he is pretty much the go-to guy. He is really good one on one.
Regardless, Vee gets the vote for today. 9-9, 2-2 ft. What a time for a senior to step up. 40 points between he and Oliver.

I think it ties May's 9 for 9 against NC. I vote for Vee. 9 for 9. WOW. Fordham's high scorer was 30 points and he shot 8 for 27. If he made 6 more baskets (55%)a for an additional 12 points and Vee made three less (67%) for 6 less points, it's a different result. I did not consider 3 points. Excellent game for Vee and everyone. Beat SJU

May hit 13 consecutive buckets against NC, and they weren't all layups.
Vee's performance today was reminiscent of Pierre's perfect stat line his freshman year against Boston College. But this one matters more because of everything that's on the line. What a great pressure-packed performance.

I know the Faithful traveled well but 2 votes? Really? I think the players deserve all the credit for this 1.
