Three Seniors
and two Juniors in the starting lineup from an NCAA team make LaSalle very dangerous in this game. For the Flyers it represents another NCAA play-in game. Go Flyers!

I've watched LaSalle play a few times on the tube. Their center, Zack, I think will present a problem.

LaSalle is a very up and down team. They can be tough as nails and they can completely dissapear (gosh, sound familar?) I think this will be a much tougher game for UD than the current metrics may suggest.

No way we see the beginning of our game on CBS Sports Network. The X - DePaul game is creeping along -- 15 minutes left at 8:35. That game won't be over until 9:15.

Well I see they scratched the streaming video for tonight's game. Was active earlier. Guess I'll just check the game tracker from time to time.
A very tired Ladies team be LaSalle 84-69

At least the X game will not go overtime.
I feel sorry for Oliver P. Nice guy and good coach, but cannot recruit even in the hotbed of Chicago, Wisconsin and Indiana.

The UD site says the tip is delayed until 9:10 for that reason.

It's 9:05 and there is more than 5 minutes left in the X game. Wonder if they would leave that game on in Cincy and Chicago and go to our game elsewhere. Bet they would if it was a Duke game.

In a blowout game the refs take five minutes to review if the X player tipped the ball, so they know where to give DePaul the throw in. Way to slow the game down and bore people to tears.

7-2 Explorers. Flyers can't buy a basket and are getting intimidated on the inside by Zack. He is tough.

We are taking shots way too quickly. Where is that team that passes the ball around quickly and hits the cuts? This game is off to a really poor start.

6th turnover; Flyers down by 10 and their offense is about as bad as they have played all year.

7:44 to go in the first half - 17 to 9 Explorers. I can't remember the last time a Flyers team had 9 points with less than 8 minutes to go. Our key players - DMO, Pierre, and Sibert are struggling horribly.

Great defensive effort that time. This team is very tight and over trying right now. They need to have a few go in so they can relax.

Scoochie goes coast to coast after a rebound. I mentioned in the pre-season that he was "lightening in a uniform." He just demonstrated that.

What the heck was that? Vee will not throw the ball to Pierre wide open in the corner and then a bad telegraphed pass to Price. I just hope there is not something going on with Vee and Pierre.

Great sign of growth: shooting 33% FG 11% 3-pt and 66% FT and UP 6 at half. Defense coming along way. Crisp interior passing and Kavs playing great.
Scoochie is going to be great to watch for 3+ more years

In my case, Time Warner has CBS Sports in my package, but the station isn't coming in tonight for some reason. When I checked the score and saw we were down by double digits, I thought the same thing as you.
Of course now that I see we decided to play, it would be nice to actually watch it on my overpriced cable.

Did you hear the guys on the halftime show, "Dayton's defense is keeping them in the game." When was the last time we heard that? About four years ago.
It was our defense that got us through the dry spell and ignited some of the scoring.

Shooting has gone cold again. Garland of LaSalle has a chance to tie the game up at 40. We should have put this team away early in the second half.

Pierre is not playing with the same level of confidence as last year. He seems to be very tentative going to the hoop, unlike last year.

Bad DMO tonight. Missing lay ups and taking quick threes. Need him to get focused fairly soon.

After moving the ball so well and getting good shots, we have taken about six straight playground crap shots. Nothing wrong with kicking the ball out on a drive.

44-38, TO by LaSalle. A couple of really big buckets and the Flyers have regained some momentum. Two good defensive stands help the Flyers immensely.

Does Oliver play defense? Leaves his guy wide open to cut to the basket...

Scott with a great offensive play and then a mental fart on that rebound.

Not when he doesn't have it going on offense. Dude is a mental midget when it comes to playing one possession at a time.

There you go slow the ball down, and get the prevent defense result... no shot. We played that scared like there was a minute to go.

58-49...nice little hook shot; LaSalle retaliates with a 3 - 58-52. They just won't go away. Two minutes to go.

Always expect UD's opponents to have more FT because Dayton can't guard dribble penetration without fouling

After a nice little hook shot, Kavs hits two big free throws and has 16 points. I think it is his best performance of the year.

When was the last time the Flyers won five in a row in conference play? I can't remember the last time that occurred.
