My class of '76 brother in Northern OH, has a vendor in Dayton who is a big UD B-ball fan, and a season ticket-holder. He has passed on "rumors" before which have been accurate, and prior to being shared, posted, etc., on usual sources (boards, blogs, media). He is hearing that AM is actively looking elsewhere, and the issues last year may have something to do with this. I'm on the west coast and often late to hear things. Is anyone closer to Dayton hearing any such thing? With the '17 class expected to be a strong class, this seems odd?

100% untrue.
The last 2 years, Archie has turned down FL, Pitt, Ok St, AL, UNLV, Memphis, and the list goes on and on and on .....

So here we are in the prime weeks of the year for recruits to commit for next year, on a publicly accessible message board, and some dickweed posts a wildly speculative rumor that our coach is looking. Wonderful! I almost wonder if the post was a plant from a university which is competing with us for one of those prime recruits.

This is really silly. Coaches do not leave at this time in the year, nor are there any openings. This is obviously a recruiting ploy by some jerk coach.

I have a mailman that is friends with my moms best friends owner of a bakery in Bermuda. He has a vendor that supplies goats milk that said Archies wife wants to become a professional wrestler. Not 100% sure if this is accurate or not, but he's been spot on before.
Also Scoochies not going anywhere, it's Pollard and KDavis are transferring after this year.

He's not transferring. He's leaving to pursue his pro career. I've got sources that say Kyle, Kendall, and Charles are doing the same. This program must be in shambles.

If Archie continues to get the type of guy he's getting, if Wright commits on the 15th....Archie isn't going ANYWHERE that isn't a blue blood of blue bloods. Duke,North Carolina,Kansas,Michigan State or Kentucky. He is king in this town, I'm not sure he leaves at all.

Folks this is all a part of growing pains as once you reached a point of being relevant and getting back to being big time the haters come out. This thread is just a small part of what negativity goes on in the high stakes recruiting game. Just think in colligate basketball, unlike football, one recruit can change things for decades. Someone please close and then delete this thread.
