Larry and Bucky

Great story by DDN's Tom Archdeacon on the longstanding radio partnership between Larry and Bucky. Fun to read.

I agree. A great read. It was especially funny to hear Bucky’s description of Larry when he first started broadcasting UD games. And I didn’t realize that Larry’s first year courtside was my last year as an undergrad. Very interesting stuff.

An equally great read is the Justine Raterman story. One of the all-time great Flyers and more guts and grit than almost anyone who has played for us in any sport. That game she played against highly ranked X, when her knee was totaled, is a legend in sports, period.

Loved the Larry and Bucky story, great read. Hats off to Tom Frericks for his professional wisdom and know how. How blessed Larry has been to encounter men like Frericks, Bockhorn, and Donoher.

Remember to enjoy Larry and Bucky while we can.
