What a gutsy win!! It is so much fun when you have one of the top coaches in the country and probably THE best young coach in the country.

91% from the line compared to 65% (13-20) for VCU. That's definitely taking care of business.

VCU and its fans thought they had this after Pollard fouled out. Our guys did not give up and broke the Rams' heart.

Very true, but Scooch was constantly bumped the entire game.

So what will Amazing Miller have to say in the post game. Just another win. So I'll take a win over VCU on their court and a loss at Duq, great trade off.

EXCELENT win! UD played a great game. The coaching staff created a good offensive plan and the players executed it well. This is the type of game the UD players need to revisit and reproduce. Now if they can just reduce the number of fouls as they begin to get tired.

VCU with 3 pts off of our 8 turnovers and 0 fast break points. Rebounds were even. Scoochie was our leading rebounder with 8. Huge first half only (again) by Sibert, and great games by Pierre, Pollard and Scoochie.
Bring on the next one!

Prouder than ever to be a Flyer today!! Bad start, tough environment, big game, ranked team, short bench, desperate foul situation, ---- all overcome.

VCU concentrated on Sibert in the 2nd half opening it up for the others, so in a way he was very instrumental in the offense by drawing the others away. Pick your poison.

Very good point, Avid. Sibert was attracting them away from the basket and that opened up the lane for Pollard and Pierre.

That's one thing I love about this Team. 4 to 5 guys can score and are weapons! Key on Pierre, we go Sibert.
Key on Sibert, we Pollard and Pierre get hot. It's a great combination with options and ball movement.
Some days Kyle's got it going, others Scooch will assist, score or rebound.
To me the top 3 Talent is less, but the overall TEAM talent is better than BG's 2004 -05 team
