K... I will give it a shot, cant type. He said I want him back sooner than later. We have been in conversation with the family. I don't want him injured but I want to get him working out ASAP to see where we are at.Redshirt word not used. team wants him back and he wants back. Caller said Flyer Nation wants him to play vs Miami.

Also in this same broadcast he talks about all of the freshmen around 31 minutes and prompted by Larry follows with a story about Steve practicing last year.

The article below says Pierre's suspension is lifted on 12/20 but I thought he was suspended until 12/22. I guess we'll find out together.

This Sporting News article has some more info:

"I do think there's a chance he'll come back to play in January — maybe late December — depending on how he feels. I won't know anything until I meet him face to face."

He'll have a full week of practices before the Ark. game...He'll be playing many minutes in that game, imho...

Archie talked about how after finals are over, they have all kinds of extra time to practice. That will help with getting Pierre back into the flow.

Don't forget that the players will likely go home for Christmas right after the Miami game until the 26th so that full week of practice before Arkansas is really 3 days..

I wonder if DP will stay here and workout with the coaches during Christmas

From my source, DP will be staying here over Christmas break. He MAY see limited minutes vs Miami depending how the game is going. But plans on getting practice from Dec. 20-29 and working with the staff on a daily basis so he can play about 15-20 minutes vs. Arkansas.

My thought process is he gets to that 18-24 min mark around Duquesne - and either does a VEE Sanford all season as a 6th man playing 27-34 min a game or is inserted into the starting lineup against against UMass at home.

Either way, I wish we never had to talk about this and the administration did their job over the summer, if so, Dayton would be 8-1 and ranked #21-24 before playing Furman. Time to move on however, I look forward to cheering my ass off when he enters the game vs. Miami

Miami is ok...not great, not terrible either...they have a couple players I remember from the past regarding UD recruiting those players: Geovanie McKnight and Willie Moore.

I think the Miami game will be a competitive game.

If it is we are not nearly as good as we think we are. Although Miami did have a home victory over that perennial power Wright State.
