Arkansas is loaded with upper classmen and is averaging >80 ppg...
7 1/2 seems a bit much.

Arkansas is 6-5 and has lost to some mediocre teams, GT, Akron, Mercer, WF and Stanford. Their big win is against... they don't have one.

Of those 5, only Stanford is mediocre.
GT is BGs best team...Wake has some ranked wins...Akron is always tough...Mercer will battle Chattanooga for their league...

rpiforecast projected rpi's:
GT, 95
Wake, 111
Akron, 51
Mercer, 131
Stanford, 75.
I'll give you Akron and Stanford. And #75 Stanford is better than mediocre.

And they beat that North Florida team that was highly touted the week before they played the Flyers.

Arkansas does the two things well that gives Dayton problems. They shoot the 3 well and hit the offensive glass.
Pierre should help immensely in the rebounding department. Let's hope his experience with the team's defensive rotations pays immediate dividends as well.

I hope we play well and yes, this will be a tough match-up for UD. Sure wish a couple of the frosh, including Steve, would be further along. But, you go into battle with what you've got. Pray our strategy is top notch tomorrow night too. UD wins a close one, 3 points!

Serious? Steve is light years further along than where he should be..The guy has played incredible BB for a kid 10 games in after sitting out a year ago especially the way this team has played sporadic offense, defense, and allowing penetration....
UD has to move the ball far better on offense and find Steve quicker after he establishes position not to mention become better than a 25% shooting team from the 3.....You want to see the kid play better? Going to be hard to but if they can get a better offensive flow and shoot a better % from the 3 then you will see it..

Good comment. It seems (I admit bias) we get pasted by 3's until AM applies half-time mojo. Second half threes against us usually settle down to reality.
It will be very interesting to see if DP has some impact on opponent threes and fast breaks.
