#2 in RPI
Very early but still great to see! This nonconference has been better than expected for our RPI. If our noncon opponents finish as expected then we will have a nice shiny RPI in March. We will not be as dependent on our conference RPI as years past.

Yes, and Saturday's opponent has a better RPI than Vandy. We better come prepared.

I know that the RPI will adjust itself over the coming weeks, but we are the only team that has played 5 top-50 teams right now, and the only one with 4 wins vs. top-50.
That'll be 6 when Chattanooga comes to town, as they're 38th right now.

I still don't think it's a real good idea to schedule just one true non-conference road game. But if you're going to do it that way, and that road game is going to be against a top-25 opponent, and you win that game, then mission accomplished. Hard to complain.

Remember they wanted Alabama on the road, Archie mentioned this Mon Night on his show.
Think it was ESPN that wanted it at the arena.

Is it possible we could end up with an RPI between 10 and 25.
wow, that would be impressive!
I imagine most of our A10 games would pull as down, if measured today.
Ones with good rpi's i know of are GW and i'm not sure who else.... VCU?

Our expected RPI at RPI Forcast is 13.5! That is calculated by a formula with our winning percentages for final games. No reason we should not meet or exceed our calculated chances if/when Pierre returns. We should be stronger in the second half of the season.
