ISU did a nice job of knowing where Sibert was on the perimeter. It was the TOs and dribble penetration that won the game for ISU.

Vee - if you are down by six with only seven seconds left, you have to shoot a three to have any chance. I can't believe Bucky was yelling to him to "keep going" when he was driving down court.

We allow them to shoot 49%, turn it over 18 times and 81 pts is the result. Whiz poor poor defense and taking care of the ball.

If UD played the first 37 minutes of the game like the last 3, they win by 20

if you want to win on the road you have to match the intensity of the home team. Flyers took a lead but ISU turned up the intensity. ISU scored 33 points in the last 12 minutes. The game was there to be won when the Flyers took the lead, all they needed to do was defend.

Turnovers and foul shooting cost us. Again, that 6-0 start turned out to be telling.

That was a pathetic performance. I thought we had something after Maui, but feared we were heading back to mediocrity after Wednesday's poor showing. This confirms it. 18 turnovers? 60% on free throws? 31.8% on 3's? Continuing to shoot 2's at the end of the game when they were hitting free throws (Sanford)? No defense? A well-earned loss...
Oh, and by the way, I'd flat out put Pierre at the far end of the bench until he removes his head from his bottom end.

I think the big question is where has P-Air been? I think the team wants to play fast and Archie is not quite ready to let them.

Is DP experiencing the dreaded sophomore slump? He doesn't even resemble the freshman DP...

I kept hoping that Archie would turn up the heat on ISU by pressing and running. They didn't seem all that deep. I think we play a whole lot better when we are pressing and pushing the ball.

This game was lost in the opening moments with missed free throws .
It showed a lack of focus and told the Redbirds the game was ripe for the taking.
They took it.
