Like how they included the "Guaranteed" column in that report. The only thing guaranteed about a 10 day contract is that you will be in the league for 10 days.

Could it be there for when someone gets a third 10 day contract? At that point they are guaranteed?

Nope, you get a max of two 10 day deals. After that, they can either sign you for the remainder of the season or forget about you.

Is it possible to get 2 10-day deals with one team, then somehow get a 10-day deal with another team? Or is it based directly on the player?

Wiki is our friend:
A 10 day contract is a where a Free Agent signs a player contract which lasts ten days (or three games, whichever comes later). A team may sign a player to two 10-day contracts in one season (they may or may not be consecutive). After the second 10-day contract, the team can only retain the player by signing him for the remainder of the season. A team can't have more 10-day contracts than they have players on their Inactive List. Ten-day contracts are available to be used starting January 5 (or the first business day thereafter) each season. Typically, if the the team sees improvement in the player they will usually resign them; if not, they are waived.

Read this tweet by Marc Spears of Yahoo Sports today. Marc is well respected in NBA circles and has many many contacts around the league:
Marc J. Spears @SpearsNBAYahoo 4h
"NBA scout's top free agents at NBDL Showcase:Bost, Curry, Manny Harris, Dedmon, Diogu, Ebanks, Varnado, Chris Wright, Howell,Reggie Williams."
Now, I can only assume and hope he is referring to our Chris Wright and not Georgetown's Chris Wright who I know is battling MS and am not sure is currently in the NBDL.

At first I thought Spears comment appeared to be in alphabetical order and not by rating and ability but I guess not. Assuming that a team can only do two 10 day contracts in one year, then they have to make a decision on the player. Maybe they are stocked in that player's position. If a team does not sign the player, does that make him a true "free agent" available to any NBA team? That could work out much better to the player, such as CW, who has improved and no longer tied to a specific team. He is available to all. I really liked CW, his hustle and athleticism and hope he catches on somewhere.

He has shot 36% from 3-pt range each of the last two years. I was surprised to see that.
