Archie's Twitter
Sorry if this has already been posted, but Archie has updated his Twitter with a picture of Assembly Hall, which hurts a little bit. But he also posted this:

Best of luck to the Miller family.

Still stings that we lost him. Can understand the reasoning. Just hope those in his new home appreciate him as much as those in his most recent home did. If they don't, then they'll deserve all the bad karma that life may throw their way.

I'm glad he took a job at a place that's basketball-first. He turned down all of the other power-conference schools that are middle-of-the-pack and unlikely to ever unseat the Dukes and Kentuckys of the world. Indiana has that potential and has the focus on basketball. Sad to see him go, but if he had to go at least it's actually a place where he does have a higher ceiling. And not one that just looks like it (i.e. 50% of the schools in the power conferences).
In the basketball world, the list of true blue bloods is pretty small I think: Kansas, Duke, UNC, Kentucky. (And... they all wear blue.)
Just below them is another group where Indiana resides, along with Arizona, UCLA, Michigan, Michigan State, Ohio State, Texas, and a few other schools. Some of these schools have spent some time up on the first tier, and all are schools where the right coach could put them up there. But even out of these schools, Indiana stands out as a place where basketball is the clear #1.

At least I don't have to see his Steelers tweets anymore.

Putting lipstick on a pig
I think I needed Archie's letter. It does help. No, really.
But it's a little like Ashton Krutcher's letter to Demi Moore when he dumped her for Mila Kunis.

It's like seeing a picture of an old hot girlfriend with another stud.
