Last time they killed us from the foul line. they took 24 while we took 7. they missed 10, else they would have won even more easily. Can't let that happen again. Pollard did not play.

They scored 51 points in the 2nd half. Can't let them get in a groove.

We did not have Pollard in the last game against the Hawks and got badly out-muscled. Need both KP and Big Steve to give us quality minutes.

I don't think Steve matches up to well against anyone on St. Joe's. You got to give him a chance but i don't see him logging a whole heck of a lot of minutes.

Mark doesn't work for CBS. Pretty sure he is doing the Sunbelt tournament in New Orleans.

Probably the most underrated aspect of this game......DeAndre' Bembry is terrible from the free throw line. Big key today. He drives alot. The fouls need to be HARD but CLEAN. Make him earn them from the line

St Joe's

A dangerous suggestion, I know, but we might want to see if Baby D or Mikesell can take advantage of a few open looks from deep, especially if we hit the 2nd half and we're still cold from deep. If the +/- is too bad after a couple of minutes, then ditch it. Just a thought, from someone who doesn't have to make a living at this.
And Cooke with a great block, and Pierre with a nice shot, but no foul?

In general, yes. Cooke? Definitely. I think he has 2 blocks already, and a nice bit of D on that last post move by Bembry.

Eventually Mikesell is going to get going.
I like the suggestion to give him 4-5 attempts and sit him if he is also 3 feckless.

At least Kendall 2nd foul gets him some rest. Now to survive without him and maybe hit a jumper sometime today.

A. Miller's gone a couple stretches today with some kind of funky lineups for this early, including having Crosby, McElvene, and Williams with D. Davis and Cooke.

Keep taking it to the basket. The refs will have to call a foul eventually. Or will they?

Allowing the free throw shooter to get a rebound, make a basket, get fouled, and make the free throw is a sack punch. Inexcusable.

In Cooke's defense, he's been covering the A-10 POY most of the 1st half.

That was an unbelievable call on Pierre. More a foul on Miles, but should be no call.

Foul count was SJ-6, UD-10, and that was after that last call with 10 seconds to go. Who in the he!! does Martelli have pictures of, to get that kind of discrepancy, especially since we have been attacking the rim on offense?

The refs aren't missing 3s and layup after layup.
Take heart, Flyers will be stronger next half.

I think Allie LaForce said UD's shooting 34%. I wish Martelli would have been honest: "Well, let's face it, if teams don't hit wide open threes it's really good for our defensive shooting percentage."

We are losing again on free throws, as they have 5 more makes than us. All other stats pretty even.

It's pretty frustrating to watch. On top of him struggling shooting, he's becoming a ball stopper and driving into bad situations which are resulting in either turnovers and ridiculously-forced shots.
