That is four guards coming in next year and one this year. Two good bigs this year. I think that leaves us with 2 or 3 schollies for next year? A couple of 6'+ quality forwards would be nice and a 6'5" center.

Still no word from Maddog on this one. Must be the two straight state titles and 1st team All-State recognition thats scared him away. Or the PPG and FG%. Or maybe her Top-65 national recruiting ranking. Heck it might even be her offer list of second-weekend level NCAA tournament teams.

Oh wait. I know what it is...we had to get her after she decommitted from Xavier so it doesnt count.

Notice she calls X the University of Xavier and UD the University of Dayton. She has her names and priorities right.

Looks like a good recruit. Still is no one concerned that Green can’t seem to land anyone directly? Everyone is a transfer, a judo, a kid revoking her commitment.

It’s concerning that she can’t attract first rate talent, Amazing with our facilities, fan base, academics, traditions, etc. when it comes to this coach- I’m not a fan!

You mean recruited directly like Nadjy Tyler? You know, the freshman? The one who didn’t transfer, didn’t decommit, didn’t come from the juco ranks? The 6-3 player who’s a four-star recruit, ranked 71st among all incoming frosh? The one who averaged about 20 points and 16 rebounds as a senior? The one who chose Dayton and Shauna Green over several other major schools?

We get it; you’re blinded by your dislike of the UD women’s coach. But to act like she only gets hand-me-downs is just flat out wrong.

You don’t need to ignore her recruiting successes or make stuff up to try and justify your opinion of Green. Just own your thoughts and go from there.

The rest of us will be happy to see how these quality recruits — regardless of how they got here — develop and perform on the court.
