63 all - end of regulation. Into OT. Chandler can only make 1 of 2 from the line. Auburn comes down misses a shot but gets a stick back at the buzzer to send it to OT.

Down 1 with the ball and 16 seconds left. Have we got the guts to pull it out?

Ouch! Whalen gets fouled with 1 second left. Misses both. Flyers lose 75-74. Whalen only Flyer to score in OT.

20 turnovers eight alone by Fowler hurt in addition to the missed free throws. Double double for Chandler. Whalen did everything in overtime so don’t put the loss on her alone.

Better effort today. Another Bradshaw disaster. Starting pg 1-4. 3pts. Not facilitating. How does she keep her starting job?? What’s the risk of sitting her??

So women want to be treated equal......but we got to treat them with tenderly. That's not equal, they need put Thai big girl pants on and take the critisim along with the praise.
You don't read anywhere on men's teams about treating them wit kit gloves.
You play the sport, you accept the scholarship, then you get praise or criticism, that they can control.

What praise??? For the last year you all have body shamed, called for the deportation of a foreign player, bashed the coach who is doing what she can, talked ever so badly about the girls, no faith at all. No one said tenderly, nothing is wrong with constructive criticism. Things you all say are out of line.

And you Flyer34 are the forever apologist for all the failings this team has produced these last two years. There are and have been plenty words of praise but as a former player you come on here to look for the negative comments only.
You have to admit these last two years are not and have not lived up to expectations. But you want fans to only support the team with compliments and gentle criticism. You want those who critisize to use there real names. Okay lts start with you. Post under your real name then let's see where we go from there.
Coachrs, players, families and those close to the administration should refrain from posting as you wear your emotions on your sleves.
Priders who do post do so as they are true fans and know what a good team us and is not. Espn announcers say it over and iver....Dayton fans are knowledgeable and supportive, and more importantly CARE.
Would you prefer no comments. When that should ever happen then you should worry. In case you haven't noticed the fan base is not growing

Since your a former player under Jabir and close to the players and staff, how would you rate the chemistry between players and between staff. To the games I've seen in person and streamed it doesn't look good.
BTW I haven't missed a game live or streamed since 2000.

Avid, I think Flyer 34 is a fan of a former player, not the player. Players who have most recently worn #34 are Jennifer Strong, Justine Raterman, Morgan Berry and Javonna Layfield. Last year I asked one of them if she was the poster, and she told me she had never posted on any fan message board.

She did identify herself last year as layfield in a round about way. Also did not have good things to say about jabir.

This isn't a former player posting.. No one ever stated that it had to be all praise ever. No one is perfect. I've stated many times, post as you please just be mindful of things you say because the players can see. Thats all

Pretty broad assumption there. Im a fan just as you are and yes they are struggling but they will get it together. I've seen 3 live games this year and you are correct, it doesn't look pretty but its the beginning. All I'm saying is say what you wish but have faith.

Thats a broad assumption, have you formally asked Layfield if it was her? How would you know she had bad things to say about Jabir because she didn't play much under him? I'm sure she would have no issue answering as open as as she is. I asked her if she knew about the forum and she stated she discovered it around 2016 and also stated she could careless about it. Lady had some thick skin if you ask me.

Talk about a kid who improved over her career. JaVonna is the poster child for "you can improve with coaching and lots of practice." Wish we could get some of her heart on this team.

I don't know that this team lacks heart - lacking overall talent of what we expect at UD to me is more accurate and we really miss a presence in the middle - a Jodie Cornelie Sigmundova, Saicha Grant Allen even back to Casey Nance.
