capital game
I had to work last night and didn't get to see the game and I can't get on Dayton access, it keeps saying the file is unavailble or hasn't been archived yet. Does anyone have an idea if and when it will be available?

I have still yet to see the game, either. Not sure what the issue is. I've tried to go through the link on the schedule, and i've tried to go through the link on the game summary page. On one, i get a dimmed out quicktime logo where the game should be and on the other it says the content is not available. I'm on a mac and i've updated everything from the silverlight software, to quicktime, to the flip4mac plugin and no luck. I really need to get this figured out before the season starts.
Has anyone else had any luck seeing the game in its archived form? Or is everyone having trouble? If anyone has some advice on this it would be much appreciated.

It usually takes anywhere from a week to a month to get games archived. There is a Flyer football game from September 13, 2008 that still has not been archived. Aren't we glad we have CSTV?
Check that. I just checked and the Sept 13th game is now available. It wasn't as of a few days ago, however.

I don't really understand your continued criticisms of CSTV. I don't recall before CSTV being able to watch online broadcasts, especially free ones, of basketball games let alone all the other sports that are covered. I am not a fan of their television coverage but their online coverage has been a lot better than before.

I dont remember it taking this long last year but if others can't see it then that at least tells me that its not just my settings or something. I can view the capital highlights video so I didnt figure it was my settings.:frog:

Yeah, I get the highlights too. But the actual game is still "unavailable for viewing."

I remember last year, the exhibition games took a bit longer to update, but IIRC the regular season games were generally just a day or 2 behind.
Do we actually know if this is CSTV's fault? It would seem to me that it would be up to UD to load the information, at least a broadcast like the exhibition games onto the server. I doubt there is high interest for most UD sporting events collectively than there is for UD BBall. Perhaps they'll get more pressure and upload them quickly. I'm surprised it takes football that long to upload.
