Josh Benson and Paul Williams weren't at the commercial shoot. Anybody know why? Are they hurt?

Paul Williams was participating....Chris Johnson was not.

The event took place from 6-9pm.
Not sure why they were not there...a night class maybe?

Chris Johnson was not there? I would assume if a guy is playing and is on the roster, wouldn't he be on a team commercial?

Is it possible he is being red-shirted? Therefore not part of the commercial?


Other than that ... for those who went, what was it like? How did it work and what did they do?

Josh wasnt there too, so I dont believe the redshirt, to early for that, maybe class

sorry got that wrong it was Chris Johnson that wasn't there along with Josh Benson.


It was a little tedious because of all the takes but we saw a lot of dunking. CW is the best, by far, lots of behind the back etcetera.

There will be two commercials

Commercial 1: The announcer says "Lets get ready to rumble" and everyone runs out the tunnel just like at a game with a few regular fans added to the mix. The team goes into a layup (really dunking) drill, first London, then Little then CW, when CW finishes his monster jam instead of running to the rebound line he runs to the camera and says some lines.

commercial 2: Flyers are playing the Maryville Valiants (think washington Generals and no I didn't make that name up). UD is on offense they pass the ball a bit then London alley-oops to Little who finishes with a monster jam. The crowd goes wild and the frustrated Valiant's coach calls time out (the score is UD 73 M'ville 46). The camera follows the team to the UD bench where they huddle up with Gregory, the benchwarmers, the cheerleaders, Willie Morris and inexplicably another batch of regular fans. Encouraging words are said by Gregory and everyone touches their raised hands together before they break.

I await viewing the finished ads with bated breath.
