The stats will show we just missed 3 in a row, but I consider it 4 when you miss the front-end of the 1-and-1.
Gotta hit the freebies!

Marquette's opponents had a combined record of something like 7-24 coming into this game. They aren't battle tested. We are. Show'em Flyers.

"The bench has no longer scored 0...they are at 3"
That is like trying to say that the United States would not have done as well in WWII if it wasn't for the 8 kills the French army supplied.

All the non-calls earlier are helping MU players stay in the game with all these fouls they are committing now. Two more big shots for Lowery there.

For the record, I hate the overrated chant. Doesn't it imply we didn't accomplish anything? I'd rather here "Let's go Flyers" or, even better, "This is our house."
Do we get a trophy or anything for this tourney? Just wondering.

Wow
Wow is all I can say. I'm the nimrod that said a few days ago that our PG play was going to hold us back from the NCAA tourney. What they have tonight...about 35 points...GO FLYERS. One thing...get the ball to MJ when we need a clutch free throw.

Our defense and the athletes on this team are impressive. I've never seen a team hit the boards so hard. CW played a great game, but someone needs to explain to him how to keep the clock running.

1rst post...
All I have to say is that we have heart... we want to win and that showed tonight. Great game by all the guys, they hussled and worked for everything. They overcame the crap fouls and still dominated. Very, Very proud to be a UD fan. Keep up the hard work boys and keep playing that dominating defense. I BELIEVE. GO UD

Chris took off from about 10 feet away with a guy standing there to take a charge. Kind of like the dunk where London's crotch was in the guy's face last year except Chris was way up. I don't know if the guy ducked or moved away at the last second but the announcer said Chris would probably have cleared him anyway. It will be on sportscenter

Great win, great team!! I agree about the "over rated" chant. Why would you want someone you just beat handily to be "over rated"?

Which one?

CW had two tremendous dunks in the second half. There was one where he got the ball at about half-court, took the ball down to the elbow, crossed over straight through the rim for a power slam.
The second one, which is the one they are talking about on the radio, came off of a steal and break where CW got a pass and when straight to the rim OVER a defender.
Take a look.
I thought both dunks were vintage CW.

They could end up giving Chris Wright a lot of props, showing him knocking players to the ground, blocking and the big dunk.

Or not even show it...
Or like the Halftime show for the game on ESPN 2, just show the score and then have the desk jockey claim that Dayton is in the ACC...
