DD and JC's health
Anyone heard if Darrell's in concussion protocol?
Will the week off help Josh get his legs back even more?
The shockers are 10 deep. We'll need Baby D to play his best basketball of the season. His shots seem to be falling at a better clip lately. While many on this board, myself included, were we're very hard on DD earlier this year, I've said all along he is the X factor. If he gets 2-3 treys to drop and he is confidently shooting when open, we are are a difficult team to stop.
The shockers also have some beef up front. If Josh can continue to shake off the cobwebs and get rebounds, stickbacks, and play solid D we are a difficult team to stop.
Mikesell and Crosby will need to provide some solid minutes as well--especially if there is any foul trouble. There can be no drop off in production from our bench.

I read somewhere that DD is fine.
Josh did not look good against Davidson. I don't think they can feed him the ball and expect him to make some post moves. He looked bad trying. Just look for him to play some D grab some rebounds and stick a few back.

Jablonski said that Darrel was fine on Sunday at the selection party and was cleared to practice.
Hopefully the rest helps Josh a little, but we won't see the real Cunningham until next year after he has had some time to rehab more and build his overall leg strength and conditioning back up.

We might not see the 100 percent Josh until next year, but I have feeling he's going to play a huge part for us on Friday.

Well his position is a decided weakness in their favor, so if the Flyers are to win he most definitely will have to have a great game. Considering our lack of a big man on the bench, even moreso.

Absolutely he is a big part of Friday and I have a feeling we may even see a couple minutes and a couple fouls by Sam Miller against their big guy inside.

I thought about that too, but I was afraid that you would argue with me on that one lol

They have three centers who share time so I think it's a foregone conclusion Miller will be in there for five-or-under given fouls on friday.. I hope we can generate offense out of our defense because I don't think we can go toe-to-toe in the half-court the whole game and stay close. We need to drive and force those bigs to foul even though they have depth. That's our game. More notably, Pollard's game. If we win, it will be Pollard that wins PoG honors, imo. We're going to need great outside shooting but we match up better with them there. It's in the post where we need a great performance from KP and JC, because of a lack of depth there.

I agree with all you said, although, I'm not sure I want to see KP shooting FTs the way he's declined this season. Also, Baby D's 3 point shooting seems to be much better lately and I think back to his Oklahoma game where he kept us in the game. I think it would be a great boost to see that Baby D on Friday. Just no running into parked cars this time.
