Distance from Rupp Arena, Lexington, Kentucky to the YUM Center, Louisville, Kentucky according to Mapquest is 78 miles!

Distance from UD Arena, Dayton, Ohio to Nationwide Arena, Columbus, Ohio according to Mapquest is 72.5 miles!

Does anyone remember the 2 years of the NIT where UD was UNABLE to play at home
(where we rightfully had home court advantage) because of the NCAA play-in games???

Oh, the irony . . .

I think it was Seth Davis who said Temple and Colorado State would LOVE to be playing UD at UD Arena. These idiots need to get over it. We should have been a 9 or 10 seed and not even in the First Four.

Sports Media is like a dog with a bone...no matter how inane a story line, if they can use it to stir up controversy, they will...and they'll beat it to death doing so. Pathetic.

People are complaining because were an 11 seed playing so close to home. Were not Kentucky the #1 overall seed. However we shouldn't be an 11 seed to begin with, we should be an 8 or 9. If the NCAA is going to make us play an extra game then we should be closer to home. It's all even if you ask me.

I agree I feel like it is all even, we should't have been an 11 and shouldn't have had to play and extra game. Thus we get to play close to home. Just keep on winning and build a winning rep so the media and get over themselves and quit talking about that. If this was VCU they wouldn't be talking about playing close to home guaranteed...just have to build respect (if last year wasn't already enough)
