Motivation
If I were coach, I'd remind all the players that no one was honored except Devon on the THIRD team . . get revenge. That is what the A10 thinks of you. Go out there and prove them all wrong. Throw it back in their face.
What an insult to our Flyers. . . .

Fair enough.
Takes teamwork to winand we are prime example of that.
Pierre not enough consistency and if Khari can stay uninjured next season he can possibly make all defensive team

It's an absolute joke that Mike Lonergan didn't win COY... Congrats to Crews with 5 Senior Starters, good lord

Agreed. This team wins when all (or at least a majority) of the parts are working as a unit. We get in trouble when we try to go 1 v 1 anywhere.

or that Weber did not make an all conference team. Might be the most important player in the league.

That would be the Chris Daniels Award.
And, yes - I agree.

Congratulations DMO
It has been a while since UD men's team has earned the respect of the A-10 media voters for All Conference recognition. DMO's senior leadership has paved the way in grand fashion.
There is more respect to be earned this week in Brooklyn. It is great to see UD earning greater respect in the conference with better results. This is no small accomplishment given the East Coast bias of the total membership. Go Flyers!

Too many of the after season awards are about raw numbers. We do not have a team that will win those awards. We typically limit playing time and use the bench and worry less about numbers.

Can't figure out which was most wrong - Briante Weber on none of the all conference teams or Jim Crews coach of the year. They must have voted for COY when the thought SLU was going 16-0. Seriously, how does Lonegran not win - GW was picked way down, and he lost two potential 5th year seniors (addition by subtraction. I guess they think Creek finally being healthy for a year rendered his coaching irrelevant.
Either that or they figured it really is possible to royally screw up by looking at LaSalle and seeing Doc G had 7 or his 8 players back from a Sweet 16 team and could not manage a winning record.

Not trying to side-track this into a speculation thread, but if we ever left the A10, wonder if they would ever change the name of the Most Improved Player Award
