question about practices?
Been at an event this weekend, didn't catch any of the SB game. Listened to the RI game today. The outside shooting seemed really bad to say the least.
I know that AM is walking on eggshells when it comes to practicing as he should be, but could today's issues be due to maybe not enough shooting practice?
I'm not ragging on them, this team is incredible but from the sound of the game on the radio it seemed they weren't even close to hitting shots outside the paint.

I think Rhode Island's defense had something to do with it. Only a few of the trey attempts were uncontested, including the two that Bobby nailed.

UD did not move the ball very well today. As a result, there were few open looks and a few forced 3s.
I thought Darrell Davis had 2 open looks that he missed. The only other open looks were Bobby's.
On the other side, two games in a row in which the opponent shoots 3s very well against UD.
Let's hope VCU cools off tomorrow.

I'm hoping the fact VCU will be playing their 4th game in 4 days will affect their outside shooting. I'm hoping their legs will be gone.

RI covered Sibert like butter on toast. He got zero open threes today.

That is possible since Archie said they were only going to practice once or twice this week before the tournament.

Scoochie got really good looks from the perimeter and so did Darrell. Just didn't make them. They found another way to win.

Rhody allowed the fewest made 3FGA in the A10. In 18 games they only gave up 66 triples. It's tough to get clean look from behind the arc against them.

Or it could have been an excellent defensive effort by Rhoda. Offense looked pretty good the night before, let's give Rhody credit where it is due

Now I'm starting to think there might be something to this. Flyers are missing wide open looks today, especially Scoochie and Baby D. Might be fatigue, but even if we just hit 30% from trey, we'd have a nice little lead here...

I gotta give Scoochie credit though. He recognized that his shot was off and started driving to the hoop with success.
