It's been silly for a while. Seems everybody must be compared to somebody. That was my point. There no harm in it, cept comparisons are usually way off and too early to worry about.

Silly CE80, I was talking about the all American running back for the bruins, not some over hyped NBA star. He's gonna be a 2 sport star and lead UD back to the D1 in football.

Lots of athletic kids just as athletic as this kid, and more, who can't play D at the D1 level.Takes heart, desire and determination which not everyone has.

That would be great. UD could skip over the Big East and the AAC and go straight to the Big 10 or ACC.

You remember what Jimmy Johnson said about KAJ before drafting him? The kid ran like a 4.9 at the combine and JJ said "I don't give a rat's ass about the combine. Give me a kid that can play football".

He is a Dayton commit. That means that, until proven otherwise, he's the second coming of Bird/Magic/Jordan/LeBron/Wilt in my view.

I hope Luke is not reading this thread, but suspect he is, and hopefully laughing at the illogical opinionated people who have never seen him play a minute.
Don't worry Luke, these people will back you 100%.

According to his Twitter account, he’s in UD’s Class of 2020. He probably didn’t want to sacrifice his academics to be a walk-on.

The stats are somewhat dubious, but according to the numbers coming out of the addidas Gauntlet series, Frazier may need to steady up his shot a bit. In 10 games, he shot .392 from the field, .167 (2 of 12) from 3 and .765 from the free throw line.
I really like the look of his game, and the solid free throw shooting suggests he's got a good shot. I think he's really great start to the 2020 class. Looks to be a good athlete and appears crafty with the ball in his hands.

I have a vision of Luke in two years being 6'6" +30 lbs, and significantly stronger. Scoochie was skinny in HS.
I have watched and followed Andrew Nembhard of the Gators, a star in the making. In June of 2018 in HS he stood 6'3" and weighed 161 lbs. He starts this season at 6'5" and 191 lbs.
I'll take it, and it would not surprise me if Luke checks in at that size or more after his Freshman year at Dayton.
The two have similar skill sets on the court. Think AG has recruited a winner.

For a guy 6'5, he has a nice spin move and cross-over dribble. No doubt he will have to hit the three-ball.

For a 6'5 guy he is smooth and looks pretty quick. Good handle and solid finisher at the rack with plus creativity. I'll take a 77% FT shooter in HS everyday of the week. I think we have a pretty good one here guys.
I like the quickness. He looks quick enough to be a 1 or 2 but the height of a more traditional 3.

I think also the role of the traditional 3 is changing, as well as the number of programs recruiting 6'5" point guards.

Basketball is basically becoming positionless across the board but having a 6'5 potential PG at UD is rare. Regardless I love seeing Luke receive kudos

Dayton locals may want to keep local talent. As for me from 200 miles away, I'd rather see a NE Ohio kid on the team but really don't care from where the talent comes.

He got an offer from Illinois State a week ago but LHS is right it's been real quiet
If I had to guess he hasn't developed enough and some of the people who offered last year aren't pursing as hard

Any info on how he has been doing in other games? In years past, a poster was able to track how recruits were doing almost for every game.

I have watched hours and hours of Luke's videos. One thing that stands out to me is his ability to get into the paint and shoot off the dribble. He is a big guard who can elevate with his shot. He also sees the court very well...a true combo guard.

Perhaps his skill set is a big part of why CAG isn’t overly concerned about recruiting a true PG for the 2021-22 season (given the concept of positionless basketball)?

Positionless basketball without a floor General is tough to watch. Maybe CAG believes that Luke can develop to be a solid PG. I trust the coaching staff, but I also think we need a solid PG no matter what style we play.

Shooting off the dribble seems to also be a skill-set of the past...Just don't see that much of it with a priority of shooting 3's and if Luke can do that that will be huge. Like almost all freshman NOT 100 top players (and plenty of them need to), he'll need to get physically stronger to go along with his athleticism and skills. I think he's going to have a heck of a career..

I don't think the staff sees Frazier as a PG. They appeared to have went after a number of PGs, including Posh Alexander, pretty aggressively.

Needs to cast a larger shadow.
Think Luke needs to spend time with Trey Landers. Find out what he eats and how often he eats it ! It will be interesting to watch Luke pack on the muscle when the Flyers staff gets done with him.

Luke will play the role of combo guard much like Jalen and Rodney do now. Anthony is looking for guys who can fill more than just one specific role.
