Elephant Nutz

The effort that the coaches and the entire team gave tonight resembled that of a huge set of Elephant Nutz. On the road; ranked opponent; must win; senior night (pretty important when all 5 seniors start); down 10 with 18 to go. HUGE win.

Like I said after 3 games when a lot of folks started to jump ship and give up on the team, the coaches, and on the season, it is critical to stick together and realize that a basketball season is a marathon rather than a sprint. So many things happen throughout the course of a season (some obvious to fans but mostly behind the scenes), which is why it is critical to keep the heads down, play one game at a time, and see how the chips fall after all the games are played.

Very proud of this team and impressed by how they've stuck together, which has allowed them the opportunity to be very VERY much alive in the NCAA discussion. Having said that, let's put our heads back down and take care of business on Saturday. There is STILL a lot of work left to do and a lot of goals within reach!!

One at a time boys.
