Watching on the U right now. Just can't imagine we'll mount another comeback. We'll see, though.

Did you all not record the game on your DVR the first time? Why would you need to watch a replay?

Best part is, i bet Pollard would trade a tooth for a win in that game anyway.
Kyle and Kendall are Chi-Town tough. Maybe the Blackhawks need to take a look.
Im not kidding

I don't know for sure but I am thinking he lost a tooth. I think I heard announcers saying that but not sure if they were joking. However, based on the mouthpiece he was wearing after, I'd say it is likely he lost a tooth.

I thought the same thing and am guessing that none of the refs saw the contact so they didn't have enough 'knowledge' to stop play and review it. But that's just a guess.

I just asked Jablonski about it and he said he didnt know whether he lost a tooth or not. Said he would look into it.

There was a ref standing on the baseline 5'-8' away from where KP got hit. It appeared he was looking right at the play. Also, KP's head jerked back and he immediately grabbed his face. Further, the URI player who hit him kept looking at his arm as if he was looking for the imbedded tooth.

But Archie could have asked for a review at the next dead ball - could he not?
Hate to see KP get one to the chops, but I didn't see anything that would warrant a flagrant 1 foul. It was a pretty normal basketball move - a rip-through with the ball as the announcer said. I did not see the elbows extended out away from the body. It could have been reviewed but IMHOP nothing would have been found.

Kind of like not seeing the VCU guy with his foot out of bounds. Ridiculous.

Kendall did not lose a tooth. Got stitches after the game. Archie said his lip was "busted" pretty good. (Jablonski asked Archie on the A 10 Teleconference this morning.)

I have to say, I was at the game and sitting in the second row behind the UD bench and it was not a real evident incident. Kendall walked over to the end of the UD bench holding his mouth and Archie didn't even realize what was going on. They nearly got ready to inbound the ball without anyone noticing Kendall had even walked off the court. When it was realized and Archie subbed I still don't think the refs realized the sub was for an injured player, let alone someone who just took one to the chops.
