Chris Wright tribute
With our current class passing CW's class with the most wins, and with no disrepect to Devin Searcy or Logan Nourse... I thought you all may want to remind yourself what Chris Wright brought to the UD program:
http://daytonflyers.com/roster.aspx?rp_id=1251
I've been watching UD hoops for a long time, and he is the only player who actually made me jump out of my seat multiple times a game... and he seemed to do it every game.
I saw everyone ranting and raving over Dillon Brook's (Oregon) dunk the other night, and all I could think of was that I used to see CW do that every night he played - for 4 years!

You at least have to include a link to a dunk when you make a thread like this:

This is a good post. I was in school for his first 2 years (his soph year probably being his best). It's a good reminder. Allow me to explain before you kill me...I find myself looking back on his career as a disappointment which I acknowledge is completely unfair. He was a great player. He didn't hit the level of player I thought he would after that soph year, but that's not necessarily fair. He looked like a lottery guy and that's a high expectation. Not to put anyone down, but the team built around him really wasn't very good. And his senior year which looked so promising because of those players around him ended up being robbed from him.
All in all, I appreciate the post because it reminded me to look back and remember that even if he didn't hit my super high ceiling for him, he was a great player and member of the program and should always be thought of as a great.

I think his decision to come to UD and how well he represented the school are one of the building blocks on which our current upward direction was built.

I liked some of our uniforms from back then a lot better than this year's uniforms.

We agreed on a thread a few days back. Those were better times. I couldn't feel more opposite here.
