For the record, and in defense of my honored name on these parts, I DID NOT give BG a D. Again, I DID NOT give BG a D...I gave him a C.

One regular season loss, even a significantly bad one, doesn't change my grade any more than one regular season win does.

Ditto. I gave him a B, and I don't see that changing even over the course of the season. If he makes the Sweet 16 or further, it'd likely jump to the A- range. If we get only one or two wins with in the NIT, I would likely drop it to a C+. For me, it's about sustained success, particularly in conference play and the postseason.

I might think about appending that if there is a regular season sweep of X.

I was looking for something on this board last night, and I stumbled onto this thread, so I thought that I would bump it up. I read most of the thread. I thought that it was a very interesting thread.
Would anyone change their grade for BG now in light of the Archie Miller experience at UD?
And would anyone change their grade for OP and DD too?
And what grade would you give Archie(I would hope that everyone would give Archie an A)?

I think we should go back and grade guys like James Carter, Joe Holsinger, Louis Tschudi, Bill Belanich, George Fitzgerald, and Harry Baujan.

It's funny to see some of those names again. Lot of people got banned (locked account status) at the end of the BG era

I'm pretty comfortable with my take at that time. I'm pleasantly surprised.
