Bucky's older brother Harold passed away
this morning
David Jablonski @DavidPJablonski
Bucky Bockhorn called the game with @larryhansgen despite the death of his older brother Harold, a former Flyer, this morning.
Thoughts and Prayers with the family! Way to win it for Harold!

Harold Bockhorn was known as "Mr. B" when he was a PE teacher at my grade school (E.J. Brown) back in the late 60s/early 70s. I remember that he gave me B's in PE on the basis of my effort, because I was as pathetic an athlete as they came. I also remember that I was the first one cut during both 7th grade and 8th grade basketball tryouts (again, because I was a 5'6", 190 pound blob with 2 left feet & 10 thumbs). But I also remember that, even though he was in his 40s, he could still dunk the ball 1-handed. Pretty awesome! Rest in peace, Mr. B.

I played against Harold in pick-up ball many years ago. As everyone should already know, Harold was a Flyer in the 50s.

Harold was my 7th and 8th grade coach at E.J. Brown around 1961/62. Very nice man. Thinking of him brings back a lot of great memories. RIP, Mr. Bockhorn.
