Vegas 16-new postseason tournament this year

In addition to the NCAAT, NIT, CBI, and CIT, this year there will be a new postseason tournament called the Vegas 16. All games will be played in Vegas at the Mandalay Bay casino.

The Vegas 16 tournament is a 16-team postseason men's college basketball tournament. The tournament is managed by Lexington, Kentucky-based sports marketing firm bd Global. Similar to the NIT, the tournament will feature 16 teams not selected for the NCAA Tournament or the NIT. The inaugural tournament will take place March 26–30, 2016, at Mandalay Bay, in Las Vegas, Nevada.[1] The tournament field and seeding will be announced shortly after the NCAA Tournament field is revealed. CBS Sports Network is the television partner for the quarters, semis, and finals. Former UNLV and Arizona athletic director Jim Livengood will chair the event.[2] George Raveling, Debbie Antonelli, John Balistere and Brooks Downing will be on the selection committee.[3]

I'm actually going to be in Vegas at this time. Even the college basketball junkie that I am, I can't see altering my plans to fit this in.
