Delaware Game Thread
Unfortunately, the Notre Dame Tournament scores haven't been updated on NCAA.com, so I can't give a good updated status, but with whatever scores were entered, the Flyers moved upto 22nd in RPI.
As for Delaware, before Notre Dame, any lead was almost a guarantee win. 22-3 in sets where they lead by 1. 22-1 at 2 point lead. Undefeated at the 5 point lead mark.
They seem to battle back well too, maybe evidenced for sure in the Notre Dame game you all referenced in the Santa Clara game. They are 9-10 at 3 point deficits, 5-9 at 4 point deficits, and no wins starts at 7 point leads.

Set 1 - 25-14 Flyers
Set 2 - 25-14 Flyers
Set 3 - 25-11 Flyers
Flyers were dominant. Bring on the Irish tomorrow.

What is a yellow card in Volleyball? I see one of the Delaware players received one.

Was on the coach. She protested too much and too often. She actually made them get out the rule book....which proved her wrong. What was interesting is that she single handedly killed the blue hens momentum in 2nd set. Obviously she didn't do her team any favors as they never got a close call after that.

John - to backfill Avid's answer - it's the "warning" card. I've never seen a player get one, but I'm sure it's happened. Usually the coach. You get one warning and then you get booted.
Three keys today -
Paige's passing - Sheff said it was the best ever for her in a Flyer uniform. She had 16 digs in 3 sets = 5+/set. She hasn't had that many digs too many times.
Blocking -- We shattered our season best in 3 sets. Was 11.5. After today it's 13. We seem to just get better every match in this area. I think EVERYONE has improved and one HUGE difference is we have a setter than blocks like no setter I've ever seen at UD. Jess, Lindsay & Becky all had 6 today. When was the last time you saw any setter average 2.0 blocks/set? Outstanding!
Setting -- Jess and the hitters continue to improve. When we can get the ball to Jess, we are very, very hard to stop. Coming out of last weekend, Jess' setting percetage had improved from .535 to .606. After Santa Clara it's now up to .630. That's her AVERAGE, which means she had to be over .700 for the SC match and probably again today. EDIT - Full stats up - Jess set at .756 against Delaware.
Dominate wins = doing lots of things right. GREAT JOB! And congrats to Tiff who played well to close this one out.

Dayton sounded kinda vulnerable against Santa Clara and responded unbelievably well. This team today was the DAYNGEROUS FLYERS.
Going back to the Minnesota/UNI match. Minnesota played poorly against UNI and came out against us on top of their game. We saw the same thing the past 24 hours. Except Dayton was able to hold off the threat from Santa Clara and still pick up 2 victories. Still one match left. I hope this UD team that beat Delaware shows up tmrw.

Santa Clara swept Notre Dame this evening. We need to come ready to play tomorrow and win this thing.

ND must have fallen on hard times. They used to be a Top-20 perennial about 5 years ago.
