Looking forward to a win!! A buddy just sent me a text message, he is at the game. It said...This is darn near a home game for us, I think we have more fans here than they do."
GO UD!

...speaking of video scoreboards....Toledo's player introductions look nice.
It would be even better seeing Chris Wright and London Warren's head on the screen every home game.

Should have been a 5 second call on Toledo but London gets the steal anyways and lays it in! 4-3 UD. Two fouls on UD already though...

Nice feed into Kurt but he misses the layup...
Layup by Toledo on the other end
and Kurt follows with a layup on the other end
Nobody gets back on D and Toledo makes another layup....GETBACK on D!

To be kind our dribble drive defense is a work in progress. We can't resist the reach and grab.

Tempo
I like the tempo here because they are not as deep as we are and it will catch up with them..what i dont like is that we are letting them hang around. The last thing we need is for a team like this to have any confidence late. If we get up early they may wilt. So far i like what we are doing...
GO FLYERS!

Toledo's big guy with a baby hook.
Yes...it seems as though he is trying to handle the ball to much...their guards are too quick and are just taking it away

OUCH
I really hate saying things like this BUT this Toledo team is not very good and we cannot get a lead...so far. TO's are killing us but i feel a nice 10-12 point run coming soon.

It is a bit weird to have the Toledo live stats several seconds ahead of WHIO and see the score change before hearing it.

We are really trying to run a decent offense. It works until a wing puts the ball on the floor in the lane. Then the excitement begins. Wright, Little, Huelsman, have trouble making a move to the bucket and turn it over.
CW forcing everything.

Bill-
He really hasn't exerted himself this year except for maybe 1 or 2 times. Has yet to score 20 in a game. He gets himself into foul trouble. Like he did tonight again. Already 2 fouls...

"That's Warren"

Marcus Johnson's awesome alley oop.
Toledo announcer, "Oh my goodness".
ps- interesting that the Rockets web goes blank in timeouts. No mumbling in the background like Bucky.

Not a great final possession, but I'll take a 9 point lead into the half.

The Toledo announcers are very complimentary regarding the flyers. Not expecting a W but hoping the Rockets can hang with them and learn from playing with the intensity of the Flyers.

OK...up nine at the half. Have to believe we took Toledo's best shot. Gotta come out for the 2nd half with vengeance. Let's put it away by the 15 minute mark. Are we "offensively challenged" or what?

I thought overall the best half of the year for Milli and Vanilli. Very good sign.

Listening to Bucky and Larry and I heard the JB's as the arena music at halftime. Nice!! UD can learn about Toledo's halftime music choice...just a thought.
More importantly...I expect Toledo to wear down the 2nd half and an easy blowout...well maybe 20 pts. We are offensivley challenged, but we are what we are. A team that goes 12 deep, plays terrific defense (usually) and wears the other teams out about 5-10 minutes left in the game.

Need to see a lot more of Devin
Kurt needs to get another "I've got your back" pep talk from BG. He played poorly again this half. Missed bunnies, not great D either.
