OT: flyers stop SDU 13-12
Gutty win by the football team. Lost all American RB Connor Kascor to a torn ACL during the week,, playing the preseason choice to win the conference , stopped them on our 28 on a 4th and one with a little more than one minute to go.

Great TEAM effort all day by our boys! Solid coaching! A couple to many costly penalties but hey, I'm not complaining! 
Got just enough "offense" to get it done despite the loss of Connor (one of the best kids to ever wear a UD football uniform by the way) and the freshman QB continues to just "get it done"!
What can you say about the defense! Their wide outs & receivers were bigger and probably faster but our boys were tough as nails all day except for 2 plays where the same receiver beat one of our DB's! Only one resulted in a TD!
Who would have thunk that the game would come down to "special" teams-----a botched extra point
Awfully proud of the kids especially given the loss of there All-American RB earlier this week. He'll have surgery on a meniscal team and I believe an ACL tear-----he said he's done and knows it! A shame on many levels but he's the kind of a kid that helps me understand why UD still has football!

C-time, as you probably know "this" kinda' thing happens here occasionally! I would guess given the win despite the loss of Connor, 62 wanted to make sure folks like you and me took a look so we could also feel pretty good about a great win for a UD athletic team when some/many may not have even looked at the football thread!
Maybe he added it to the wrong forum by mistake-----I don't care personally--but that's me! Great win for the U (that's what PRIDE is all about right)------glad he shared his thoughts!
