Eliminates Arkansas, Missouri, Minnesota. Brings in Tennessee. We are above all of them.

Several bubble teams got blown out in their conference tourneys in addition to the ones above. I wouldn't read into it.

SMU comes to mind. They won't get in and will be the team the networks won't understand not getting in. In the media's mind, Larry Brown gets SMU respect, regardless of their resume. That is how their little minds work.

There is nothing to worry about, we are in. We are not even close, like the OP have said, this statement causes concern for the Minnesotas, Arkansas, SMUs, and Missouris of the bubble. Just take a deep breath and enjoy the fact that we are even having these discussions on a Saturday before Selection Sunday. The worst possible thing that could happen is we get stuck in Dayton but I reaaaaalllly don't see that happening, 10 or 11 seed in the field. BOOM.

not sure what to make of the comment as no team has made a serious run in a conference tourney by beating a couple of teams that are already in.

No praying needed. We are easily in the field. It's just a matter of seed and location. Just hope it's fairly close.

I know, and I really didn't like when he said, "For instance, you needed to do more than just beat, say, Fordham in the league tournament."
What did he mean by that?

I swear, if that costs us an NCAA bid, I'm going to start writing letters, and I won't care who I **** off!

Loved 1984, but 1983 was the heartbreak to end all heartbreaks. Everyone had UD in the NCAA only to miss even the NIT.
