not overlooking the razorbacks BY ANY MEANS, but was curious with all the tributes to meadowlark lemon ...
i've never seen the globetrotters live, but always felt they were showmen that were athletic enough -- not really great basketball players.
here's their all-time roster -- interesting to study:

alas, no dayton flyers -- maybe someday! there are representatives from miami (oh),
duquesne,

George Washington (laughed out loud)
Cedric Ceballos F 6-7 Cal-State Fullerton
Wilt "The Stilt" Chamberlain C 7-1 Kansas

Darryl "Chocolate Thunder" Dawkins C 6-11 Maynard Evans H.S. (Fla.)
Todd Day G/F 6-7 Arkansas
Connie Hawkins F 6-8 Iowa (involved in same scandal as roger brown?)
Earvin "Magic" Johnson G 6-9 Michigan State
