Hypothetical 6 New vs. 6 Old Flyers Matchup Question
If Policelli transfers, we will have six returning players that played all year this year, and six players who will be new. I believe that both sets of players are pretty darn good. In certain spots, I believe the newbies are better than the experienced guys.
Hypothetically, if these guys played each other in a 40 minute game 100 times, how many times would this year's active players win?
Crutcher, Davis, Cohill, Landers, Toppin, Mikesell
vs.
Chatman, Watson, Matos, Johnson, Sissoko, Tshimanga
What say you?

How can you say the new 6 are better without seeing them play?
I don't know who'd win and I don't care......just want the Flyers to win.

A lot of noise that the 4 transfers + x who make up the scout team are beating the starters on a regular basis in practice.

Current wins 59 times.
Honestly I don't think any of us have watched enough film on the new 6 to accurately say who is better.

Hypothetically, we haven't seen enough of Frankie to assume he will transfer. He's a freshman, much like Trey was when he struggled for time on the court when he was a freshman. I never heard anyone speculating about Trey transferring? I hope FP stays. He going to work hard which should translate into more time next year. My 2 cents. ;-)

Are they playing this year or next year? The players who can't play are always better, so if they play this year the new players win 100-0. Next year, same teams... current probably wins 55 I guess.

That's the problem with next year - we will have 12 starters. How will AG keep everybody happy? Any possible chemistry issues?
Good problem to have, but it's going to be a puzzle.

Don't really care who wins as long as the game is played on Martin Luther King Day. ESPN would want it.

Whenever we have a 7-8 man rotation posters express concern over the players wearing down and being tired.
Whenever we have a 10-12 man rotation posters express concern over playing time and team chemistry.
Kind of like how EVERYONE thinks other people on the road during snowstorms are terrible drivers, yet half the people think the others drivers are bad for driving too fast and half the people think the other drivers are bad for driving too slow.

Same here. I don’t want Frankie to transfer. I want Frankie to improve, so he can secure more time in the rotation.
