Which Flyer team will show?
IMO inconsistent effort has been the defining characteristic of this team. They are not overly talented but then most of the teams in the A10 are not.
Never know what level of effort this team will display. Pierre was fired up last game and IMO played the best game of his career because his defense was solid.
Defense and rebounding define the effort night in and night out, the shooting comes and goes but the effort should be more consistent. There are always going to be ups and downs with effort but if the Flyers had defended a little they would have won at URI and if they had rebounded at all they would have won at UR ( GWU won only because the controlled the glass).
Tonight when you watch Zack and Wright IMO it is what Archie was looking for when he recruited Robinson and Scott, who IMO, suffer from inconsistent effort more than the other Flyers.
IMO if the Flyers could trade their 4 bigs for Zack and Wright they would be in the top 3 in the A10.

They would also be playing very short handed. Better hope they do not have any foul trouble.

very slow start. Then picked up it at end of the half to take the lead.
Let's hope these Flyers remain in charge in the 2nd Half!

Good win. 18-8. One more before the final four tough ones - statement time.

The Dukes have been playing better. Won at URI and almost won at SBU tonight. If the FLyers look past them they will come home with an L

Made LaSalle work for 80-90 % of their buckets. And guards outside had more trouble than usual finding their shooting seams and dribble drive.
Very good to see!

Perimeter defense was the best of the year for UD. They made LaSalle work hard for almost every point.
Good to see UD fight back after such a slow start. In the past, their defense would have caved when the offense went south. Tonight, defense actually started offense for one of the few times in the AM era.
Archie has always run a good offense. Seems as if during the winning streak, the defense is starting to catch up.

Amazing when you have real production out of your 5 spot. This is a totally different team with Scoochie running the PG position. The half court seems to shrink a lot more when he's out there versus Price...Not nearly as much stagnation when Scoochie is out there and he penetrates to spots on the floor Price simply cannot get to with the ball....Price is simply an offensive liability, imho, when his shot is not dropping.....Flyers were able to "get into spots" last night and minimize court space and drop the ball down low MK and others more frequently as well as get to the rim....Were also able to get to spots for nice kick-outs..
Defensively, this team was very quick on the perimeter and got to spots before guys could square up........Collapsed nicely with help-out defense when guys got into the lane and forced La Salle to have to even make some tough baskets..
This is a very talented team UD played and not too far removed from being the NCAA darlings of a year ago....If they had another BIG they're a NCAA tourney team again....

This team is 12-13 and 4-7. They are nowhere near as talented without Galloway. Another post and they may have beaten UD tonight, way to hard to say they are a tourney team again. Don't get me wrong, it was a good win, good defensive effort. But this team was far from very talented.
