Looking at an 11 point lead with a minute to go, I guess that's virtually a guaranteed win. Yet it feels like a loss after losing so much of the halftime lead.

Observations:
1. AM should be concerned at the amount of points given up to Fordham. The only way they were getting back in the game was by shooting threes. I didnt see them well defended in the second half.
2. David Kaplan (analyst on the broadcast) is in love with Fordhams coach
3. Archie's given name is Ryan
4. Price looks hurt, I am concerned. Doesnt looks like himself. Anyone else think so?
5. What do you think the line will be vs SJU? Pick em?

Combination of Fordham playing like their season depended on it (which it did) and UD getting a bit lax.
Have to give UD credit for answering the call and not panicking when Fordham cut the lead down to five on more than one occaision.
Once again Vee and DMO were huge (VEE POG IMO).
One at a time!!

87 - 74. On to SJU tomorrow.
Got to give Fordham credit for playing hard the second half to end its year. It might be an interesting team to watch next year.

We covered the spread and our offense was firing on all cylinders for about 32 minutes. It will be hard for any one to beat us if we scored 80+ and shoot the ball as well from the floor as we did today. Obviously there's concern about the defense, but I am not too worried. We were blowing out a bad team at half, the guys might have lost a little focus but bottom line they got it done and got the W. This happens when you play to the level of your competition.

I've read that he was grumpy as a kid and they took his name from Archie Bunker in the TV show "All in the Family". Not sure if it's really the true story but that's what I thought I had heard....

Yes, now that you mention it, I recall the announcers being quite fascinated with that Streets of PITTSBURGH story.

Archie finally heard me screaming to put Price back in for his free throw shooting. He did and Price clinched the game at the line. He apparently didn't hear me screaming for Robinson. We are dancin' and a prancin'. Survive and move on!

Seriously, this needs to be investigated and discussed. I hope the NBCSN crew has time to research this mystery and then I hope tomorrow's game doesn't interfere with the crew's ability to update us on their investigation.

You are correct. Steve Wolf told the story while calling the Flyers' game vs SLU.

We looked unstoppable in the first half, definitely in the zone offensively with a solid defensive effort by all involved. While Kavs may not have gotten a lot of rebounds, he effectively was sealing his man off and enabling our other kids to get in and grab them when he was in there. Toward the end of the half, however, we seemed to lose our edge and in the second half we just weren't trying; it looked like we thought the game was already over and it was mop up time, but, give the Rams credit, they didn't quit. The first six minutes of the second period, I think we scored one point while Fordham was animated and going all out...I thought the reffing stunk, BTW.
We had great seats, by the UD band, right off the floor, so we got a pretty good look at the action underneath the hoop by the UD bench and some of the calls against us in the second half were atrocious. Thank Gawd our kids woke up and finally put Fordham away, but our FT shooting, for the most part, stunk.
BTW, hats off to Dr. Willie and the UD Pep Band...they were great and entertaining from the warm ups before the game right through to the end. Now we have to take care of bid-new against St. Joe's...we can't afford a let down today.
