Don't look very big or strong up front. Time for Pierre and Scott to drive the line and post up too.
Hopefully that can open up some Magic from our 3 point shooters.
They have one guy 6-5 guard Hankerson , doing some damage at 18 points a game

Watching online. Almost excited to see how the team reacts and how effectively we play small. Boston has struggled but they will keep this one tight methinks.

SportsNet NY is carrying it. Often local newspapers don't list SNY games in the sports pages but I have found a number of cable networks have SNY in their sports packages.

10-7 us. Pollard playing well other than a three he took early in the shot clock, off balance and covered. Kyle Davis with a charge, two missed free throws and a turnover... now sitting.

Scoochie and D Davis both two for two. Our defense is not good. We either steal or allow an easy shot. These guys have no inside game and we still are not guarding half the time.

Bass, Davis, Smith looking good on offense. Pierre, Pollard not finishing in the paint. They are going to get a lot of practice at it.

20-15 ud. Sibert has to start stroking it. DD getting some confidence.
Don't see how our guys can keep up this defensive pace.

Passing has been better than it was in Past games. Crisp ball movement is giving us good looks and the shots are falling.

The announcers keep harping on UD's lack of points off of TOs. Kinda hard to get a breakaway layup on a travelling call or an offensive foul, ain't it?

Good half. Would prefer to have Pollard, Bass, and Wheri not shooting 3s -- 0 for 3. 6 for 10 for the rest of the team.

Good first half:
*excellent defense with a few missed assignments
*Sibert and Pollard showed up
*DD finding his stroke
*Wehrli helped
*Pierre needs to find the gym
*Kyle as well
*Scoochie was gassed by the 6 minute mark, otherwise a good half
* Bass did well overall
The issues-
*endurance--we are really using up the adrenaline
*fouls - 5 players with 2 --can't have anyone foul out--need bodies
*BU should be ecstatic--they average 11 TO's a game, have 13 at halftime
and are still in the game
* also are a good 3 point shooting team--shot 3-9 first half
This game could change in a heartbeat.

Are you taking the score off live stats. This is my first time watching live stats so forgive me if this has been discussed previously I'm wondering if stats are working correctly. Take a look at the 3PT stats. I could be having a senior moment but it looks like stats are only counting these buckets as one point - not three for each.
If that is the case I have a half time score of 51-38 because it's doing it for BU too. Can someone verify half score. Thanks

I liked what Siebert and Pollard did in the half, but do have a concern with BU's ability to make 3s, and if BU reduces its TOs, this could be tight. Also concerned if we have foul trouble.

With four guys standing still that can't happen. We have stopped moving on offense and covering on defense.

Should have been T on BU dunk -- he pulled a Pollard and did a chin-up on the rim.

Their coach is not too bright. He keeps going back to zone and we score on it. When they play man, we are confused and stand around.

Scoochie playing like end of last season -- what a game thus far. 8 points and 8 assists and ZERO turnovers.

11 pt lead, 70 - 59 with 3:39 to go. This is a good way for our new line up to start the season. Put BU away now.

Does Miller have a rule that when the shot clock winds down they give the ball to Pollard 20 feet from the basket?

Horrendous call on Scoochie. He was backing up and the guy fell down trying to lean into him.

And who was THAT foul call on? If it was Davis, I call "B.S.", b/c he had position AND was backing-up.

Another phantom foul -- this one on Pollard. He was pushed by extended arm from BU player. Seriously these refs have been bad both ways.

Pollard and D. Davis really stepped up.
I cannot even envision Pollard as a senior. He will stop jacking 3s, continue improve on defense, off-the ball action on offense, etc. He is my favorite Flyer, but I still don't want him shooting beyond 10 feet :-)

UD 78 - 62.
Good way for this team to begin its season.
Won because of our good 3 pt shooting and BU's turnovers.
Expect we will see much more of Wehrli.
