Koby Brea and The Mets
From UD Basketball
The Hometown Kid Returns
Tomorrow night, NYC native Koby Brea is heading home to throw out the first pitch at the @mets game‼️
Before heading back home for the game, we made sure Koby was prepared for the big moment
___________
A big shoutout and thanks to @DaytonBaseball Head Coach @JaysonKing26 for spending the time to help get Koby ready for the big moment

Gary Cohen is the play by play announcer for Mets station, SNY. He is also the "voice " of Seton Hall Basketball. I will be interested if he mentions, on tonight's broadcast, that Koby throws out the first pitch.

This is so awesome. As a Pete Alonso fantasy owner and certified fan-boy I've been following the Mets closely all season. Amazing to have two Flyers toss out first pitches in the same year!

Only disappointment; he didn't throw it from the bump (perhaps he wasn't allowed).

I'm told Blevins filled-in as the color guy on a couple of radio broadcasts for the Mets this past week.

I saw Blevins on SNY as the color guy for Gary Cohen. Blevins took the place of Keith Hernandez who is "on the IL" after falling and injuring his shoulder. The next night Cohen, now working with Ron Darling, praised Blevins for his "performance." Keith is done for the season so we might see more of Blevins.
