I was impressed with the Toledo webcast. Quality of the feed was much better than what we get. Wouldn't mind paying a little $ if I could get a more consistent, higher quality feed like theirs tonight.

I was impressed with the Toledo announcers. They gave UD major props as a program that Toledo aspires to be. They had lots of good things to say about the program and players

Cool. Bucky and Larry were quite complimentary of the Rockets, too.

Anyone else lose the WHIO audio stream? Bucky and Larry just disappeared. Reloaded and still nothing ...

I have been using this link:

Don't seem to have any problems like I used to using the regular WHIO link.

I don't know what RL's stats were but I thought both guards (as well as our #2 guard MJ) had excellent nights stalking the ball and making good decisions. We are looking GOOD at point.

Exactly. Who would have thought point guard would be a strength this year? By committee, the dredded duo (with a strong assist from Thomas) are getting it done.

It's amazing that we have a different star that rises in every game...we are very good, but still have a lot of work to go in order to be viewed at a top 20 team in the country.
I'm very excited at how good Rob Lowery has developed.

good turnout tonight by the flyer faithful...i'd estimate 500-700 in attendance.
Kurt is slowly becoming this year's Jimmie Binnie....

London Warren. 4-6 from the field, 3-4 from the line, 3 rebounds, 11 points, 8 assists, 0 turnovers, 3 steals in 24 minutes.
Sorry, saw someone posted it already. But it is worth repeating.

Last year....Jimmy Binnie 6 ppg 5 rpg
Last year...Kurt Huelsman 6 ppg 5 rpg
This year...Kurt Huelsman 4 ppg 5 rpg
Jimmy was slightly better on offense.
Kurt is 10x better on defense....
This years team is all about the D.....
Kurt is the foundation for all of that.

Not seeing the game, only hearing it, there were 3 possessions that I thought we pulled the trigger too early. We were up in the second half when Toledo went on a 10-0 run to bring it to a 5 point deficit. Twice I thought Luke shot way too early and once RL. This helped Toledo get back into the game. Earlier I thought PW shot way to early also. I guess we have some more things to learn.

Exactly right
Think Luke and Paul may be wasted scholarships. At this point I don't see them ever being starters. They seem to take the easy 3pointer, without regard as to how well we are positioned to rebound or if there are better options. They don't seem to bring much to the party and I expect they will see less and less pt as the conference games begin. Defense is not a saving grace for them either.
Like the playing 12 and keeping people fresh, but their minutes are becoming to costly to endure.

Hardly enough time to make that judgement.
Case in point, London Warren.

Oh I wouldn't be that harsh, maddog. Can't give up on them NOW....they are only freshmen. They just have to be coached and learn.

First of all, I agree that it is way to early to come to a conclusion on either one of these players. I think they both bring certain skill sets to the court. We will continue to need everyone at some point throughout the year.
Secondly, who cares if they ever do become starters (well, I am sure that they both do), but I personally think that they both have an excellent chance before their playing careers are over at UD. And no matter what, bench play is always key to any program and you always need players that compete in practice to make everyone better. I don't think we will ever be able to say that UD wasted a scholarship on either.

We are going to rely on Luke a lot as he develops, IMO. Big men that shoot that well don't come along very often.

I was really not happy to see Mini Ref there, I am not going to lie. The traffic was not good getting in to park, so my wife and I got there right before game time. I looked up and saw Mini Ref and said, "oh no." I predicted it after the Mason game with Joe DeMayo. Then, to my horror, my wife nudges me and says, "hey, isn't that other ref DJ Carstensen?" Oh, for crying out loud, we got not one but two of my least favorite refs.
That's a testament to how good this Flyers team is. Chris Wright played a poor game for him, we had a lot of turnovers, they had a guy make 4/6 3's, we had two of the worst refs, for both karma and skill, and we still won by 13. I love it.
