Nice to see we are #13. Xavier at 6 and Temple at 9. Nice stuff to say about us, and I agree this is the year we finally make it back to the tourney.

Creighton is in there at #10. That game in Omaha on Dec. 10th, is going to be one heck of a game!

I don't agree at all. This is actually pretty accurate if you ask me. I expect this team to win 20+ games this year and be sitting right on the bubble this March. When you think about the fact that only 5 or 6 non BCS schools have gotten at large bids the last few years this is exactly where UD is. Take out a few of those teams that will win their conference and UD will be trying to get one of those few non BCS bids. Hence the #13 ranking. This is if they don't win the conference tournament.

If you think this is wrong then you don't think UD will win 20 or more games. I actually think they will challenge to win 23 again with the schedule they are playing which would only be the 6th time UD has done this in the last 50 years and BG will have coached 3 of them.

I agree.If,and a big IF,we had a consistent returning PG to go with the rest of the crew,then this prediction would be spot on,and maybe even too low.

Saw this on Blackburn Review earlier today. Agree with the assessment that UD has a lot coming back this year and a schedule that should be beneficial to say the least. Don't know how many wins we would need this year. let's just get the first one and go from there.

I believe #13 among non-BCS schools is about right. Could move up 3 or 4 spots if the point guards bring their lunch pails and put in the time needed.

I think as the season rolls on, we could end up proving to be better than 4 or 5 of those teams, but it all depends on how they do and how we do to deserve the right to be called better than them.
