Golden Rollos - ODU
I missed the entire game...was at an OSUMB concert. Aside for the refs and Coach Grant, your job for the next 48 hours is to vote for the least royal performance of our Flyers. Looking at the box score, I'd say this vote won't be close.

To each their own, but I choose to give DD props for another hard played game where he put this team on his back. Great senior leadership.

Rollo is right, no need to think twice, as the Pride of Beatty is sorely hurting tonight. And yet, the whole team was seemingly absent.
We need you Mr. Landers; hurry back.

Williams continues to play like he is 5'8" and can't shoot. Again he makes his first shot and misses the next 6, 7, or 8. No post ups, no drives and no rebounding. Should have played Kostas more and sat Williams. Matej, Williams and Crutcher are tentative and unsure and gave us nothing tonight.
DD was a stud. Between about minutes 6 and 30 ODU and our players took him out of the game. My urinal neighbor after the game said it best, this is one of our tallest teams ever and we play like five guards.

Let’s be careful anointing him a stud just yet. Last year if Charles Cooke took 19 shots in a loss people on this board would have torn him to shreds for being selfish and not facilitating the offense. DD does similar things. While he’s been good at creating good looks for himself what else has he done to help the other 9 players on the team? He often forces the ball creating several turnovers because he puts his head down and decides he’s going to take the shot no matter what instead of keeping his head up for open teammates. It’s not lost on me that this is not entirely his fault as AG does not seem to have a plan for the offense. But you expect a senior guard to not just score but to also make the game easier for his teammates a la Scoochie.

you are exactly right... he is both a senior AND a leader on this team... No, he doesn't have the title "captain", but the captain is never the only leader... DD did nothing to be named captain, but he is most definitely a leader on this team.. great job DD

Well, then he's not a stud.

X for sure. I don't know what Grants offense is, but I would expect X would spend more time near the basket. Tough to get any OReb 30 feet from rim and clearly he's not making much from out there.

X man. (Unfortunately!)
Reminds me of the joke about a guy who complains of a sore elbow when he bends his arm. Goes to the doctor and says his elbow hurts whenever he bends his arm.
The Doc's response? Don't bend your arm!
