Very glad to see how Trey is getting around on that ankle tonight. With X Man out we’ll need the depth. Has played a nice game overall.

Well since I always complained when Archie wouldn't press I guess I should do the same for AG. At least make it look like there is an attempt to win. It just looks like they've accepted defeat.

Was glad we avoided Auburn in S Carolina. Thought we could give them a game at the Arena. But we were never in it. Much work to do.

He ain't coming out. Crosby is either hurt or did something wrong beyond his play. Hasn't play a second this half.

I thought the plus five odds was generous. This smelled like a 10 point game.

@ Miss St. is a tougher game than this. Dayton had 39% chance to win this and 26% chance to win in Starksville.
Looking at 3-4. When was the last time Dayton had a losing record after 7 games? Just looked, it was pre-2002 ...

If Josh's was a screening foul, the backdoor pick for the dunk in the first half was as well as his feet were much wider than his body, this is point of emphasis as well this year.
Don't call either or call them both. I rather see neither called.

This season, as many of us thought will be .500, so play the frosh. All four show promise, but have a long way to go, especially Kostas.

To paraphrase Dennis Green, “ This season is what we thought it’d be.” So far. Plenty of time to learn. The goal is and should be to win the conference tournament in a nearly wide open (save Rhode Island) A-10. My expectations are in check and my only measuring stick is the progress - starting at the defensive end - that these Flyers make this season. We’ll still have some great moments this year. But I’m ok with having a fun season with no expectations.

Guys/Gals, trust me when I say that these players are giving 100%. They all come from GREAT programs, but competing at the D1 level is exceptionally hard. I was lucky to have the opportunity, but it’s a *****, especially as a frosh. Young team with a steep learning curve and a brand new system for the entire group. This is going to take time, but we will see major improvement (especially on D) by the end of the year. The better team won tonight, period. The refs thought 13,500 were there to see them, but it didn’t impact the outcome.
I like that UD played this game. Auburn is well coached and really attacked UD, so hopefully our guys can learn a lot from the film. It will also help them understand the high level that they have to compete at to have a chance to win. It.Is.Hard!
Bright side: At least Big Cat tees it up tomorrow at the Hero World Challenge!

They have one Senior who rarely sees the floor. The starters have only one 6'8" player, and the next tallest player is 6'5", as shown above. Much like Akron. But this is a better team than Akron.
We cannot let them get up double digits or it could get ugly.

I was honestly hoping for a lot better. But a single digit spread of any kind was not showing up as a probability no matter where we played Auburn.

i think AG blew it by not having Kostas play more time mid to late in the first half. Tigers got it back to 8 to 10 point lead soon after we passed them. ONce they got rolling , there was little stopping THEM the rest of the game.
I think X man will begin to bring it the next 5 games. We really need 3 stars out there. We have DD and Josh (bad game obviously). WE need Williams to perform well.
Then either continue to get contributions from Jordan Davis (my new fave player), Kostas, and whoever can contribute. Without that third player killing it, we are screwed.

You do realize that Kostas picked up 2 fouls in the first 30 seconds? He did put him back in late in the first half, but if had kept him in he might have fouled out in the first half.
