I was pleased with the effort last night, despite the loss. Today's team looked flat on both ends of the floor. We didn't play with anywhere near the grit or intensity we had the first two games. We earned this loss.

1 good win, no bad losses. And we found our defense. At least a partial success

That looked like a team that went only 8 deep, in their 3rd grueling game in 3 days. If we had played with last night’s energy and focus, we might have won today. As it was, we had tired legs on a 17-1/2 hour turnaround. Might have been too much to expect. But I’d rather have high expectations and come close to meeting them than have low expectations that are just too easy to meet.

If indeed they lost their legs in the second half then that’s deja vu all over again from the NCAA tournament in 2015 against the Sooners. To me, this seemed a game of punch/counterpunch. For the first time in 3 days we let the opponent hit first. We hit back and made things manageable by halftime. Then we landed a major body blow to go up 7 to begin the second. But we dropped out of the trapping zone for some reason and Oklahoma hit back. Not sure why we went back to man defense.

If Jordan and Ryan dont find their outside shot, we will be toast.
As opponent I'd pressure Josh as well as Crutcher too.
