Another classic trip to Olean this weekend
Current forecasts are for 12-18 inches of snow in the Olean area this weekend.
No classes on Monday, so at least there's an extra day to get home.
Larry and Bucky have some great stories about playing at to St. Bonaventure. They've upgraded hotels, so Larry won't have to worry about snow blowing in under his door.

With Flying To The Hoop tourney this weekend, cannot afford for coaches to be delayed this weekend. Too big of a recruiting opportunity in home town...

I spent 30 hours in Syracuse last Friday.
Let me just say that whomever said recruits won't come to Dayton because Dayton in winter just sucks has never been to Syracuse.

If my experience in the past in any indication, I don't believe the coaches are allowed to actually engage with the recruits....however they can stand right by the sideline sporting their school's swag while the recruit(s) they are recruiting are warming up. Or they'll sit in the first handful of rows directly across the bench from the team with a player they are recruiting.
I'm sure there will be UD representation there to see Sissoko as well as any other players UD is recruiting.
edit: doesn't look like Sissoko is going to be there, the flyin' to the hoops player highlights had him listed, but had him at Huntington Prep. Anyhoo, haven't really heard anything about him since he signed, and updates on his season?

The Golden Snowball Award is a contest between 5 cities in CNY - Upstate New York. The contest is based on which city receives the most snowfall for the snow season. The cities that compete are Albany, Buffalo, Binghamton, Rochester and Syracuse. Last seasons Champion was Syracuse.

I should just look up when we go to Olean every year, because we're going to get a massive snowstorm that weekend. Better than an almanac.

4 years ago, my wife spent most of 7 straight months in CNY, caring for her elderly parents. At the end of February 2015, we moved them to Ohio to live with us. On her way back from CNY on 2/28/15, she heard a report on the radio that 3 cities in CNY set all-time records for the lowest Average High Temperature. The Average High Temperature in Syracuse during February 2015? 9.3 degrees. That’s the average HIGH. The previous record was @ 12.5 degrees. My daughter said that was the month that “broke Mom”.

Do you know when Olean/Rochester has spring?
When you see the street curbs.
