The problem is the lead UD story is "UD just gets by Auburn," which seems rather out of place for a newpaper's website that should be a bit more timely with the news.

I can't comment on DDN because I'm not there. But the Dallas Morning News also had many articles written days ago do to a limited staff over the Thanksgiving holiday weekend. Real news was short-changed to a great degree.
